I have turned my passion for fashion, beauty, and wellness into a hobby and soon to be a career. My studies of Magazine, News, and Digital Journalism at Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Public Communications, and minor in Fashion Design have equipped me with skills to understand and take on the industry. Combining passions of writing, sharing, and fashion to bring together a beautiful passion for fashion journalism. 

 

From working in retail at a consignment store in my hometown of Ridgefield Connecticut, I value sustainability and understand fashion merchandising and marketing. Writing for Syracuse Universities, Good Life Magazine Good Life has taught me many ways to advocate, interview, and report on many topics. Having an active role in my sorority, Delta Gamma, has made me understand the importance of sisterhood, teamwork, and femininity. Being an Influencer and Ambassador for both Melissa Wood Health, Melissa Wood Health, and The Skinny Confidential The Skinny Confidential has allowed me to step into the world of marketing through social media. My various and diverse experiences have contributed to a desire to work in the fashion and journalism industries, always wanting women to look and feel their best, hoping I too can participate in such feelings, and embrace confidence amongst girls all together. 

 

Michela is finishing her final year at Syracuse and after college hopes to move to New York City or back home to Connecticut, working and helping women feel their best in the beauty or fashion worlds. You can find her happiest finding fashion and beauty steals while sipping on a cinnamon cappuccino alongside her Golden Retriever, Kai.
